Alain Daniel Alvarez Vega (Jojutla, 1989) is a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature and Research Assistant at the University of Cologne. He holds a BA in Political Science and a second BA in Classical Philology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, complemented by an MA in European Literary Cultures jointly conferred by the Universities of Strasbourg, Bologna, and Thessaloniki. This diverse academic trajectory reflects his commitment to transcultural and interdisciplinary scholarship.
